Among castles, villas, olive-treegroves. Here we find: the route of taste
Prato

Just a few kilometres from Florence there is an area which was chosen by Lorenzo the Magnificent to build the Villa Ambra an oasis of relaxation and elegance surrounded by a frame of vineyards and olive groves and known as Montalbano area. After visiting the Villa which is the most famous example of Renaissance architecture, the visit will go on to include the charming village of Artimino founded by the Etruscans. The visit will include the external visit of the villa Ferdinanda named after the Grand Duke “Ferdinando” and also known as the Villa of the Hundred Chimneys for its many variously-shaped chimneys. In this frame you will have the chance to discover the wine and food tradition in a well known farm house of the area.
